Well, we didn’t get a female President, but this week’s podcast is a celebration of powerful women making serious changes for the better in this world.

Our first guest, and our autumn edition of “Seasonal Sanctuary Stroll,” is Ellie Laks of The Gentle Barn, a unique sanctuary for abused animals of various species who, once they’re rehabilitated past their trauma with a variety of veterinary, behavioral, and alternative treatments, lend their love and their healing stories to abused and at-risk children. Gentle Barn has two locations, Los Angeles, California, and Knoxville, Tennessee, and both have visitors’ hours.
