Podcast: Play in new window
Podcast 102815 looks at food – both enjoying it with Lindsay S. Nixon, “the Happy Herbivore” herself, and digesting it well with Dr. David Klein, Natural Hygienist with expertise in digestive disorders.
Here’s how to find our guests and their services:
Dr. David Klein, director of the Colitis and Crohn’s Recovery Center, has several websites:
Self Healing Empowerment: http://www.selfhealingempowerment.com
Colitis & Crohn’s Health Recovery Center: http://www.colitisandcrohnscenter.com
Vibrant Health & Wealth Academy: http://www.vibranthealthandwealthacademy.com

Kline’s bestselling book is Self-Healing Colitis and Crohn’s.
Lindsay S. Nixon, “the Happy Herbivore,” is at http://www.happyherbivore.com and her new (wonderful!) book is The Happy Herbivore Guide to Plant-Based Living – a truly excellent, reader-friendly, beautifully illustrated guide to living a healthy, whole-foods, vegan lifestyle from the Dr. Oz-featured author of cookbooks with sales over a whopping 200,000.

Also on this episode, I explained at the end why Gary Francione, originally scheduled to be the November 4 guest, will not appear. He disagreed with my endorsing a book about cutting back on animal products for those who aren’t yet prepared to go vegan, and that’s his right, of course. However, instead of simply contacting me privately to tell me he thought this was a terrible thing, he opted for character assassination on Facebook. I feel no compunction to reward bullying with an hour of air time. Therefore, all of us here at Main Street Vegan are working to reimagine the November 4 show with some fabulous guests, to be announced. My apologies to anyone who was looking forward to an interview with Gary. In all honesty, I was looking forward to it myself.
Blast from the past! If you found Dr. Kline and his natural approach to digestive issues of interest, check out episode 102412, in which Rachel Weaver shares her journey to recovery from ulcerative colitis using Dr. Kline’s methods. The other guest on that show was Robin Asbell, author of Sweet & Easy Vegan.
