Sarah Bowen is an animal chaplain, multi-faith educator at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary, and author of Spiritual Rebel: A Positively Addictive Guide to Finding Deeper Perspective & Higher Purpose. Especially interested in the intersection of spiritual values with animal welfare, Sarah Bowen is a fierce advocate for all creatures, teaching interspecies mindfulness practices, working with humans around grief/loss of companion animals, loving up animals in shelters, and providing wildlife struck by cars a “sacred sendoff.” Her writing on animal/human relationships has been featured in Spirituality & Health Magazine, Tricycle: The Buddhist Review, and Elephant Journal, and as well as on a wide range of podcasts.

A shoutout to our sponsor, Complement. Developed by vegan dietitian Dr. Pamela Fergusson, and the NoMeat Athlete, Matt Frazier, Complement enables you to get your vitamin B12, vitamin D3, and the essential Omega 3 fatty acids (DHA & EPA) in an easy once-a-day spray. Click here for more info and to order. Use the code MAINSTREETVEGAN for a 10% discount.

And now the good folks of Complement have a new product: Complement Plus, a supplement in tablet form that includes all the nutrients in Complement spray, along with zinc, iodine, selenium,  magnesium, and vitamin K2. Essential for blood clotting, healthy bones, and heart health, the only plant-food source of vitamin K2 is natto, an obscure, fermented soy food and one that is definitely an acquired taste (and smell). To get Complement Plus at a discount, simply go to https://www.lovecomplement.com (where you can order regular Complement, as well), but this time your discount code will be MAINSTREETVEGAN+.
