August 10th Podcast

Opening Guest: Genesis Butler, pint-sized animal activist, featured in the documentary Everyday Vegan Stories. Genesis stopped eating animals at the age of 3 after she made the connection between where her food came from and the animals she loved.  She will soon be working with her local city council members to try to get a wild animal ban passed in her city, Long Beach, California. If it passes companies will be banned from allowing wild animals to be brought into the city to perform as entertainment. Genesis is the great-great niece of Cesar Chavez, and if today’s interview is any indication, she’ll be changing the world just like her famous family member.
