Yoga Revolution + After Meat

Episode 464, original air date January 26th, 2022, on Unity Online Radio. Listen now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or your favorite podcast app. Please note that the 475 Main Street Vegan Episodes are archived by date behind the newer episodes of the Victoria Moran Podcast. We hope you’ll enjoy both.

I started doing yoga at 18. It accepted me as an overweight young woman and showed me that my body could do extraordinary things. That was over 50 years ago. Now my body can do fewer ah-hah feats, but I can still get down on the floor and do asanas, and breathe, and meditate, and have my life enriched by the practice. My first guest on this episode is Jivana Heyman, whose mission in life is to make yoga accessible to all people, regardless of age, body type, flexibility, income level, whatever else, and he shares with us in this episode his vision and the spirit that underlies his brand new book, Yoga Revolution.

In the second half of today’s show, I speak with Karthik Sekar, PhD, author of After Meat. He gives us a fascinating view of the technology that will lead to a slaughter-free world.
